Carbonara Sauce (serves 4)
Ingredients:
8 oz spaghetti or linguine
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente.
Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.
In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper.
Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the bacon, tossing to combine.
Remove the skillet from the heat, and pour the egg mixture over the pasta, stirring quickly to coat.
The heat from the pasta will cook the eggs and create a creamy sauce.
Serve the pasta immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
